Comments on the Caly 3...

As mentioned in my other post I have a Caly 3 that I regularly EDC. What a great knife. I love the fact that the crew at Spyderco have responded with a low rise clip option. Any plans on coming out with a low rise clip that looks more like the traditional SS Spydie clips? The only other issue I had was with my method of carry which is IWB. The butt end of the knife was a bit too square and pressed into my waist, so I touched it up with my dremel. Nice and round now and I can't even feel it when I carry. I ran into the Caly 3 on a visit to the factory last month and I absolutely love it. Awesome flat grind and hands down the sharpest knife I've ever received straight out of the box. No touch up necessary. Keep the awesome knives coming and thanks for listening to your customers!

I agree that the Caly 3 is a great knife. It's a good knife for pocket carry...not too big.

It's nicely done.

Plowboy, what do you think of the Captain as an EDC? I am trying to decide if I want to spend the money. Do you find the blade configuration useful or just unusual?
