Hi guys. First let me apologize if this is the wrong forum to post this but looking around I didn't see a more appropriate place. I have a question for you makers. I have a very nice and very simple little neck knife made by a well known maker (well enough known that the design was sold to and is produced by CRKT but he still produces a custom version). I had him make it quite a few years ago and it has been a great little knife with perfect ergonomics and dimensions except one thing... instead of a 2" blade, I would really like a 3" blade. I emailed the maker and have yet to hear back. However, I read a recent post on Blade Forums where someone was looking for the very knife I own, had contacted the maker, and was told he is a year and a half or more out on the custom version and is not taking more orders at this time. That leads me to my question: Would one of you that has a much lighter backlog consider making this knife even though it would pretty much be the same design except having a longer/slightly larger blade? I would be very appreciative if anyone interested would contact me by private message. Thanks!

Hello. The following link is to the subforum where you can post a thread to request work from the knife makers and craftsman on the site.

This link is to the subforum where the makers and craftsman can showcase their work.

No doubt someone here will be happy to make you a necker knife in your desired size. Now making one identical to a well known makers design is a different question.

Check the Maker's For Sale section in the Exchange, you may find something similar that peaks your interest.

Thanks benchwarmer. I'll close this thread and let hangglider post his request in the right place.
