Commissioning custom work

So I was in the market for a karambit and stumbled upon karambit.com
They have a chat feature & after chatting with the owner I learned they take custom orders. The site is nice, they sale some nice k'bits, even James coogler's customs which are regarded somewhat highly... Anyway have any of you dealt with any customs from karambit.com? Is it a pretty stand-up business?
Any & all help would be appreciated before I drop a sizeable chunk of coin.
 
I have no idea about karmbit.com but I can suggest that you try your luck with some of the makers here. In the exchange there is a area to commission work with our resident makers.
There is so much talent here I don't see why you would need to go else where. Just my 2cents.
