Actually it does look like the pommel flare is oversized and could be ground back to a shallower/flatter curve coming off the bottom rear of the handle to eliminate the flaw. Is that an option?

What does the “false edge” notation mean? Blade doesn’t appear to have a swedge.

Any photos of the other side of the blade/handle (pile side)? A lot of nice features on that knife.

Absolutely, the pommel flare is oversized and could be ground down to eliminate the flaw. I did consider this option at first and was planning to resort to it if the defect did discourage someone from purchasing it with the discount.

You are correct the blade does not have a swedge and I apologize for the mistake. I use my previous sales post as a template and need to be more careful to make sure I don't leave anything in that does not apply to the current blade.

I do not have any of the pile side taken by my photographer but I would be happy to take a few using my phone. I will post them here on the form soon for you and anyone else to see.

Thank you for the compliments and input!
