Hello dear friends,
With God's good will today i present you an ultra light kitchen 'laser' in a compact configuration.
The blade is made using 12c27 stainless steel ingot (+/- 59 hrc for the knife) and is hand sanded to a very thin and light profile. The blade is only 0.078" and is tapered to the tip (it is a really scary sharp thing - even if i handle knives every day each time i do one of these i use gloves, something that i rarely do but they are somehow so light and thin that almost always i nick myself

For the bolster i used a 2x2 pattern Toray carbon fiber piece up front while the main body is a hybrid composed of very dense black linen micarta and 'lava flow' FAT carbon spacer, everything is nicely buffed but still keeps a pleasant safe grip feeling.
OAL app 10.3" blade 6".
The price for this guy is 115 usd.
