This blade is made from D2 tool steel. It was plate quenched then cryo quenched, after that it was tempered to be in the hardness range of 59-60rc. The blade is ground with a double flat grind. The handle is wrapped with black cotton cord that was soaked with resin. There is black anti-slip tape under the wrap. Each side of the handle has an antler menuki. It comes with a leather cross draw sheath.
