So im thinking about getting a Benchmade Nakamura but i wasn't sure if the more expensive one with the contoured carbon fiber handle and s90v steel was worth an extra 76.50 compared to the G10 handle with m390 steel.

For the average person there is very little difference in the performance of those 2 steels.

What bd said (although I am a steel junkie).
There may be a tiny weight difference as well with the CF.
both will serve you well. That said, I would get the 484-1:D
And - don't forget the 484-1601 at knifecenter

Depends on if the CF handles are worth the extra $ to you....both blade steels are high edge retention oriented and as an EDC knife, I don't think you will find either to be lacking to say the least....

It also depends how proficient you are with sharpening. The M390 will sharpen much easier than the S90V. Of course if you constantly keep it touched up, that won't matter. I forget where it ranks pricewise to the others, but that Knifecenter exclusive 484-1601 is very striking. So much that I bought a pair.

Like someone just said. M390 is very easy to sharpen!! I love my S90V knives, but the steel is a little more tricky to sharpen. Both steels are amazing though!!

The knife center one is really sharp. I love wood scales.

i would love the exclusive if it came palatially serrated. just my preference.

IMO, partial serration is useless. Go full serrated or got straight. Its not a best of both worlds.

Just my $.005 (I don't have $.02, too poor)
