compairison photos

would anybody be able to put up some side by side photos of the blades and saws of a: Vic Trekker (non OH), Hiker/Fieldmaster, and a Leatherman New Wave?

I have Trekker on its way to me from Swissbianco but at the moment I can only show you a blade from a 91mm knife and a Leatherman. I do have the one-hand Trekker--its blade is the same size as the Trekker blade but the shape is different near the base (to accommodate the thumb hole). Give me a holler if that'll suit your needs... But maybe someone else will post a photo for you.

It's funny that you ask since I stopped by Ace on my way home from the gym. They have all three knives at my local store. If you have a local Ace hardware, you might stop by to check them out.

While I don't have a new Wave anymore, it seems the Hiker's saw has one more tooth on it. It is much larger than you would think for the size of the knife.

The Trekker saw is huge. There is no comparison. The saw has to be at least an inch longer than the other two.

I think there is a small one in a neighboring town I'll try and swing over there tomorrow and see what they have, thanks for the heads-up.

The Leatherman is there just for reference for me so I can visualize the sizes between the two Vic's. I'm only concerned about the size because I'm want to get one for my better half. Whenever we go camping/hiking and she is always borrowing one from me so I thought I'd surprise her with one for this season. I'm just worried that the Trekker models might be too big for her hands.
