Worried about Stinky? I'm worried about the two new cases of Busses that he's dumped on the floor and is rolling around in naked.

IIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!!! I just had a mental image of that... I think I need to go scrub my brain with the strongest cleaner possible...  :barf:

Damn you, PoorGuy... :grumpy: :grumpy:

My hands are still shaking! About a hour ago I made a purchase for a FSH with black crinkle & mag black canvas micarta handles. :D

Most money I've spent on a knife. I actually have a picture of one like it here at home. Good lord it's flippin cool looking! Now the waiting begins. Arrrgh... the waiting! :grumpy:

I just paid a visit to the Company Store and I think I need some assistance on a couple of things.

1) Would anyone have the dimensions of the Air Bleeder Leather Strop? Additionally, what kind of compound should someone apply to this strop? Where can someone obtain those compounds from?

2) Does anyone have the measurements of the handle thickness of the FSH with the standard canvas micarta scales and with the magnum canvas scales?
Also, what about their respective weights?

3) It is stated that the HOFSH has a "full height grind"; so, what type of grind does the FSH have? In terms of performance what difference does it actually make?

Thank you for your assistance in advance.

1) I can't say for sure, but it seemed to be around 2" by 8". That is just a guess. As for compounds: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2981947&postcount=14

2) ....................

3) ....................

Hope this helps... And if not or misinformed you, then I hope it atleast entertained someone ;) :D

KAAK

Thank you for your reply. As for its merit, the answer is yes to both: this helped (in its own way) and it did entertain too.

BTW, inspite the fact that I have very few posts, I have been watching the BladeForums for quite some time now. I have seen that you are very knowledgable on many knife related issues. According to your opinion how would you advise someone to choose between either the standard or the magnum handles?

Greetings from Greece,

George

Thank you idahoskunk

I saw that too and this is the reason for which I edited my initial post a couple of minutes later.

Would you happen to know anything as far as my other questions are concerned? Also, would you be able to send me a photo with a FSH in black crinkle coat and tan canvas micarta scales alongside a FSH in black crinkle coat and black canvas micarta scales so that I can compare them visually?

Take care,

George :)

sorry, i don't have a blk crinkle w/tan to get a pic from. check out the handle color thread that KaK started, it has a lot of handle blade combo's.

maybe somebody out there has this combo they could post?

You needed that anyway. Even without the mental image. :D

True... But now I have a damn good reason for doing so... Hmmm... Perhaps some of the industrial blue stuff from work would do the trick... It seems to remove human flesh quite handily... ;) :D :p
