Compare big folders Harsey T3 and Rukus

One thing to consider when choosing a knife for survival is that if your lock fails you are screwed..... except for the benchmade axis lock, you just jam twig or stone in there and you have a fixed blade. I know its very unlikey to happen but its atleast a little comforting. IN the long run i only trust framelocks (including burly linerlocks) and the axis lock. Thats just my prefernce.

i have both the mini rukus and the rukus and both make fine edc
or dedicated wood/survival knives,I've handled a t3 a fellow soldier has
one but the liner lock looks cheesy.I've batoned both my rukus
knives and didn't have any problems.;)ask yourself if lost in the woods
or some clamity happens. do you hesitate due to lack of trust in your
chosen tool.:confused:now before the lone wolf fans attack me my
fellow soldier carried the t3 for 2 tours in Iraq and had no problems
which ever you decide either one will serve you well

I have about every blade worthwhile in my company investment scheme!!! This is how i Justify a extensive collection of high end knives, unfortunately my wife has to many college degrees and smarts to beleive, and knows I am totally full of shit! My Favorite EDC is a Lone wolf Harsey d-2 dual action that I bought from cougar about 4 or 5 months ago, the day i opened it, a fishing buddy (leo) fired it and lost control it hit a concrete floor and mashed the tip, goodbye safequeen. Pissed off and not speaking to my freind for a few days I stated to carry this knife, This knife is the first thing that hits my pocket in the morning after getting dressed, When it is not there (temporarily mis placed I do not feel the same) If you can find one as this is the only dual that i have ever seen buy it even if you can't afford it! The manual wrist snap from closed or the wood inducing auto snap, and this blades overall everyday usefullness! are unpareleleld for any money! Forget all of your other choices and indulge yourself!
