I have long said that many of Emerson’s knives look like he took the handle off one Emerson knife and and the blade off another, combined them and voila, new knife.

The cqc7ish family has always been my favourite. Emerson’s wave device changed the knife world.

Not including ZTs or Kershaws but yes including an HD7 I’ve owned like 8 or 9 cqc7s so far.

7 is my fav just because it is the most practical to carry and does eveything I need a knife to do. Good utility/ self defense for a folding knife. I do wish Emerson never switched from backspacers to standoffs.

There may be cooler emerson knives but I find myself carrying the 7 the most hands down.
 
Great Post. This will definitely help many folks see the difference between some of the models. I've been interested in a PUK and the picture with the Barracuda was very helpful. Thanks!
