Glad you like your new Grohmann, I think you'll find it a great working knife. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of their sheaths, they're a bit soft and the cutesy blind braided belt loop has to go. I can say this, I'm Canadian:D
A working knife should have a hard working sheath, IMO.

I just untied the loop, wetted it slightly and straightened it. Then I just tied the two slots at the end of the looped strap together with a cord and pulled the strap as far as it goes. Instantly longer loop. :D
