Comparison Between Belts?

I was told that Blaze need high speed and pressure to continually fracture the abrasive and expose new sharp cutting edges.

With that in mind, I bought an extra drive wheel for my KMG (6") that ups the sfpm significantly.
 
I'm only grinding folder blades. I do these after the steels usually made from carbon in mosaic paterns are hardened. I do all the final sizing with belts after the steel hardened. Not long ago on the advice of a fellow maker I brought in a bunch of 60 grit Norton Blaze belts and my usual 3m yellows. I had tried these before but decided to check them out again. As before I found that the Blaze belts lasted me about half the time the 3M ones did. I was using these for titanium grinding as well. Frank
