Aaaaaahhhh, good times.....
We had a blast testing these blades, and will be making a comment each, because we actually had some different oppinions me thinks, LOL....
ASHBM: Really Nice handle, awesome chopper, but tends to stick a little as you can see before you remove a little material.
Chops really good when you get it going.
Nice thin shoulder by the edge, so it bites deep in the seasoned Birch we were chopping.
NMFBM: Heavier than the sister,(just like I like it:foot
-Does not stick like the ASHBM, but I felt like I got some "pinky-bite" from the handle. Probably just my poor tecnique.
Nice front-Heavy feel to it make it bite deep, but not as deep as the skinnier sister..
Homemade monster: It`s just that..........
If you can`t chop through it, you break it off With this beast.
Bites deep, hits hard, and bring the Cave-man out when you use it..
TGLB: Handle feels awesome, and bite deep, (I`ve actually reprofiled to about 20degrees)
Chops way over its size, and would be an excelent choise if yo want one knife to do most when you are out camping...
SYCKO Regulator: Almost the exact details as the TGLB, but a little lighter, so the chopping is a little more work, but it`s doable.
Performed really good, and I do NOT regret letting Lennox fool me into buying this when he returned from Blade Show...
Becker bk9: Feels awesome in hand, light, fast and chops way over it's size.
A real jack of all trades, really slicey, and good chopper.
No problem doing small tasks, food prep and making firewood.
If you want bang for the bucks, you need this.
It really begs for more...
