Research the concept of Microeconomics Economy of Scale,,,, the cost to manufacture a product vs. quantity produced.
The Spyderco products from Japan with FRN are a bargain and excellent quality.
We have ZDP-189 and special runs of Super Blue and HAP40 at very attractive pricing.

Exactly. Of course there are other factors, but the ATR2 at $191 is a good price given the current pricing model of high quality production folding knives. The fact that I got a PM2 delivered 12 hours after I hit "buy" for $130 is just insanely AWESOME! It's certainly not the norm.

Sal,
Just recieved my Karahawk.Yeah,i know how to use one,I was curious, usually carry a fixed blade Karambit with my Gunting.
I wanted a folder Karambit & handled a few..."not" a believer in a liner lock for a Karambit,At first I didn't like the Karahawk ring,no brake & used to a ring sticking up more!I understand "why"you did what you did with the ring, makes the Karahawk more compact....I like your design.I only have one complaint...the screws for the clip do not fit my tools soooo have to visit the hardware store.Sal,we go back aways, first contact was at the Guild in Orlando, showed you my Civilian(not military or LEO)you wondered HOW I got one!Only two were in Fl.one was mine & a SEAL had one.Next was at BLADE had breakfast with you & Bram.May have to buy a Black Karahawk in the future !Carrying the Gunting & my Karahawk at breakfast now.
