Hi all! I am planning to get a hatchet for outdoor camping use. Currently I am looking at the busse Paul's hatchet and Ratchet. My question is: I know how great infi performs in knives, but does it make that a lot of difference on a hatchet? Also, is the SR101 steel as stainless as infi?

I prefer the Pauls Ratchet but mainly because of the handle. I think that Resiprene C really excels on this type of a tool mainly because of its shock absorbing abilities. Is it a huge factor, probably not, but it is something to consider.

INFI is more stain resistant, however, I've never had any trouble with SR101 and all I do is wipe it down after use.

If you want something you can throw in the back of your truck and not worry about for several months you might want to look at the PH (because of it's increased stain resistance)

I hope this helps :D:D
