For some time, I have watched more and more "customers" gripe about things that didn't go right with a dealer, when in the end, they weren't out a penny; only a little time in front of a monitor. I have also seen more and more dealers gripe that they don't have the time, people, financial resources, etc. to do what their potential customers are asking of them. To the customers I say, "if you don't like the way a person treats you, then don't do business with them and don't make posts unless you are out money." To the dealers I say, "if you cannot provide prompt, courteous service, then get out of the business and don't make posts asking for people to make accomodations for you." I've had a couple of real aggravating situations with internet dealers and some aggravating situations, as a private seller, with forum members. However, as a grown man, I've learned to deal with these situations and move on, not come on here and air my little personal problems to the world. Bruce

Bruce,

I thought that this is exactly what this forum was all about. Getting and giving information about dealers whether it be good, bad, or indifferent. Would you suggest that when we have good experiences we should not post? After all, we EXPECT good experiences when making a purchase so what is the point in giving credit when we got exactly what we expected?

I feel that it is important for us to give credit where due, and this means that if a transaction goes smoothly and if you feel a person was prompt, informative, considerate, or in any other way caught your attention you might want to let others know. If on the other hand a dealer (or individual) is rude, slow, uncommunicative, then I feel it is not out of line to bring it up. I certainly want to know about other's experiences, compare them, and then make a decision. If this is not the right place for this sharing of information then I have misunderstood the point of this forum.

Well said mjoury. I wanna hear about all transactions whether they are good, bad or ugly and then I will deceide for myself if they are valid complaints or complements.

Why do some members feel it is their duty to tell us what infomation we should or should not hear?

Steve

Sorry Bruce, but I find myself in disagreement with you as well. If a dealer is rude, slow or has bad service, I want to know about it.

Ya,I'm going to have to disagree with the majority of your post. While it is a problem that occasionally someone jumps the gun with a slanderous post, before exhausting all avenues.I believe bad service is bad service regardless if any actual money loss was incurred.Losing money just makes it all the more worse.Chow,Ralph
