So, I've got two KMGs after putting together a nice KMG with a 1.5hp motor, 3 step pulleys and a base plate, I stumbled across a fantastic deal on a 2hp VS KMG with all the bells and whistles.
Well... I've only been using the variable speed one, and the other KMG has been sorely neglected (aka unused) for over a year... and it's basically brand new. It has probably a total of 6 run hours on it, having ground 2 blades and then some various woodwork and handle work.
The KMG's got a machine patina from being in the shop with just an oil coating, aka it's darkened up, but it's not rusty. The base plate was coated and thus looks exactly like the day I got it. It's currently wired for 112, but you can very easily re-wire it for 220, in fact, i've swapped it back and forth a couple times depending on what outlets in my shop were available at the time.
Cost to me new was 1300+ shipping (total of ~1475). All combined the package weighs 175lbs without any packaging, so I'd like to do local pickup only. I can deliver it to Mace's hammer-in in CT the weekend after thanksgiving if someone would want to pick it up there too.
I'm asking $950 for the whole package
Included is:
KMG chassis
KMG flat platen with tool arm
KMG baseplate with mounting hardware
1.5 HP TEFC Leeson motor with switch and wiring kit
pair of Maska 4-2 step pulleys matched for motor and chassis
drive belt
