Complete Collection Pics

"Logic" might well indicate that one top of the line knife like a CRK with a lifetime warranty would be all one would ever need.........but all of us here know that's a crock....

I have never let too much "logic" ruin my life anyway......:D

For now one is enough for me. I of course want to get a Large 21 too. I've been drooling over some of these Devin Thomas blades. I just don't like owning knives that I wouldn't actually use. They're amazing works of art but they have the same utility as a good old plain Seb. I love the simple look.
I wish CRK would offer more variety as far as blade steels go. I'd love a Seb with ZDP-189 or M4.

Again, old and previously posted pictures but all I have for now... I think it was Dino who talked about the satisfaction of sharing with fellow CRK enthusiasts a while ago. I certainly echo the sentiment. It's funny, looking at pictures (mine or someone else's) gives me the same joy as the real thing.

These two mammoths were probably related a few k years ago :)

And here's a happy spiro family. Nice to slice and dice the collection in different ways ...

Nickpp=!! WOW STUNNING! I hear those South African Daggers are just about impossible to come by!! GREAT SCORE!

NickPP--Love the FB collection! They are very elegant and it looks like a few them have been carried and used--good on ya!

What steels and wood are used in those traditional FB's?

I really like the "Bird and Fish #7."

The 3 on the right of this picture... what's the story on those? I'm really digging the contoured handles.

The LDC9 series was an exclusive run for Robertson Custom Cutlery (1997), there were 50 large (LDC9) and 50 small (LDC-109) produced. All were regular style sebenza's and had BG-42 on the steel with a swedge. The groves not only looked great, they also worked by providing a better grip when your cutting plus you get the added benefit of reduced weight . The LDC9 is one of the best sebenza's ever produced and it's to bad it couldn't of been a standard offering back in the day cuz they would have sold truck loads of them.

Thank you! I've edited the pic to reflect the woods. An old sales brochure I have listed the steel as 440B, however in correspondence with CRK's it has been suggested that these are probably ATS34. The B&F is a lovely little knife, similar to the steak version Chris used to make........ Oh and the old sable gets a bit of use for sure. Cheers,

Nick
