I have complete mammoth tusk in very good condition. It is seven and a half feet long, 12 and 7/8 inches in circumference on the big end and wieghs 45 pounds. The tusk is a perfect candidate for restoration but it would also yield lots of great material for scales and interior ivory for hidden tang knives. It has been out of the ground for over two years and is ready for restoration or cutting up if thats what you want to do. The colors are chocolate brown on the outside and appears to have some underlying black or blue/black on about half of it. I am happy to answer any questions about the stuff or working with it. It is guaranteed to be legal and naturally colored. I take all the normal forms of payment, Paypal, checks, or credit cards over the phone. The price shown is plus shipping, I am happy to prepare it for shipping at no extra charge and charge only the actual shipping charges. Wow Mark that is awesome . I would just love to come see your shop. That is cool to find that kind of stuff. I do a lot of arrowhead digging around here never find
anything like that
 
I do get a chance to look for stuff like this once in a while and sometimes I find it, but mostly I buy it from people that do find it. It's very expensive to look for stuff like this (and you have to be carefull, you can't just take whatever you find), I can save money by staying home and buying it from others. Right now I'm restoring four tusks and have plenty of really nice stuff already cut so I have decided to sell this one as is.
