Complete Set of Forum Knives?? All 25...

dsutton24 dsutton24 I'm pretty sure mine came from Barry @gunstockjack and that this was an offshoot project that Charlie Campagna organized. Stag was donated and it was interesting because stainless had not been offered as a Forum Knife option but was the following year by Canal St. as they were about to go under. You best ask Eric about this too?

Thanks, Will

Footnote: I didn't see you had started a thread about this...but good that you've got the info you needed.

yes, i had mentioned eric's name early on, figured that was a big enough breadcrumb for him to track

You probably need to include this one also maybe?

Okay... A Schrade Scrimshaw Stockman. I'm starting to feel a little outgunned by you all.

I noted the 2005 Schrade Canoe, but this is obviously something else. Do you know date, quantity and price? I appreciate anything you can tell me.

Edit:

I found a reference to the 2006 Schrade Forum knife, Is this it? I haven't found anything related to the rest of this knife's story yet.

Edit Edit: Found a little information on AAPK, these were Frank Giorgianni scrimshaw, and about 25 were made. Does this make sense?

There were at least 20 made...scrimmed by the man himself...

2006 forum knife

Or this one........ ;)

I'm happy to add it to the list. Can you give me any information on it?

Edit: Well, this thing really is a dark horse. A search for ESSE Junglas turns up a TON of hits, of course, but a ESSE Forum knife is elusive. I'd appreciate any guidance on this one.

All I can tell you about the ESEE Junglas "Forum knife" was they made 4 of them. Spark auctioned at least one of them as a fundraiser. I don't remember when or how much I gave for mine, but the number 275 sticks in my memory.

Number 4 of 4.

There was a time when ESEE had a very active manufacturers forum on BF. At the time ESEE never made the Junglas with orange handle slabs.
ESEE donated 4 orange handled ones to BF/Spark for open bid, to help fund the forum. This is one of them.

Soon after this ESEE moved away from BF and started their own forum.

There is also a Bladeforums REKAT SIFU. I have one which I purchased in the aftermarket because the SIFU is one of my all time favourite edc knives. Unfortunately I don't have a pic of it. I can take one when I get home in a few weeks....... :)

Interesting. I see a reference to 75 being made. I also see that there were at least two variations on this, a plain handle and one with one finger groove. It looks like they went out of the knife business sometime before 2002.

As usual, how many of each were made, when, and what was the price?

Thanks to all who have contributed to this project.

I started in 2020 with the Viper knife. The fit and finish just blew my mind. The next 3 are the only GEC knives I own, I haven’t been in on any of the drops, and I won’t support flippers.

So the forum knives I have are very special to me.

Big thanks to Spark Spark and anyone else involved.

I appreciate the community here lots of great people here.

I enjoy seeing all these great (and rare!) forum knives! I have purchased at least one of every yearly knife starting in 2012, but didn’t keep all of them unfortunately.
