Well i finally just finish'ed this one up, it's my first damascus hawk, it's made from a billet of chainsaw blades, and the haft is maple. The wrap is done with a very thin leather, then soaked in resin, and cured.

there are also some copper accented pins holding the wrap on...though mostly for looks, as the resin has bonded it all together pretty good.

thanks all, i wanted to add it has a 1080 hc bit in it, so that i could have a good cutting edge and eliminate any question of achieving a decent heat treat, buy keeping that cutting a simple steel
