This forum really helped me through my first attempt at making a knife. I thought I would pass along some completed pictures of number 2. I've been trying to take the information and knowledge I learn here and apply it to what I'm attempting to do. With anything, trial and error always prevails.

This was done completely with files. It's too thick, and has some flaws, but I'm pleased with it, with what I had to work with.

Nice! This one is looking really good and shows definite improvement over the first......even though I liked that one too! It's good to see your staying at it, keep up the good work.

Too thick? Not a chance. I really like that! it's like a mix between a vox bob and a Becker BK2. I wish it was mine.

It's 1/4" 5160 from Jantz. The scales are .024" black G10 liners under Shadetree green burlap micarta with 1/4" black micarta plugs.

I appreciate the comments.

wow! at first glance, i thought it was about 4.5-5 inches total, but it's BIG! i think you did a hell of a job. very nice!
