Hi. I found some knives on a dealers web site a couple years ago. I know they still have them (as of a few months ago) but for some reason I can't find the dealer site anymore. The name evades me. I never bookmarked it, doh!

So the dealer sells high end knives. It wasn't at Fort Henry, or any of the "known" dealer sites.

The knives I'm searching for were folders with Japanese art work on them. Each knife of the 3 set sells for $1300-$1500 a piece. They are all black with art work on the scales. One features a bat motif, one a pagoda, and I forget what was on the other knife. The maker name is obscure as well..

I wish I had more to go on.. but I don't..

SO, if anyone knows what the heck I'm talking about, PLEASE drop me a link! Thanks in advance for any help...

PS I've done numerous searches on "japanese folders" "bat pagoda folder knives" "three knife set" etc etc...

That is IT! Man I tried so hard to find that damn site.. Thanks for the help! I had faith in BF members for knowing where to find random knives :) Just a few days and BAM!

Oh? Hmmm I'd love too... I feel ehossboss is a bit high on his asking price.. I've never heard of Scott before but those knives are very tasty... The Silver dragon folder is $1600... I'm not spending that.. I thought it was more like $1100.. which I could swallow...

I'll search for Scott's website or email and see what I can come up with, thanks everyone!

Never heard of Scott?? He is around for about 30 years and is one of the best in the Japanese style. He is also a really talented photographer and an overall nice guy. I have owned several of his knives and they have great fit and finish. Barbara, his wife, does all the engravings. BTW, $1,600 is below the price it sold
for at the show; they went for $1,850 - $2,250 in 2010.
