This set of 3 knives all have the same edge angle, which is 24 deg. inclusive. After looking for a commercial sharpener with the 24 deg angle and not finding one, I made up this matching counter accessory.
I used a set of carbide strips from an unused sharpener; gluing them together at the proper angle, using cyanoacrylic glue. The carbide unit was then cast in place using 2 part clear casting resin.
The project took a couple of hours to complete, but it might just save these knives from "caveman" sharpening technique.
