Composite handle material ?

Well that Presto had outters when i bought it and it was like..Presto watch your handle dissapear.

what is the butter and molasses made from? i have only one and love the look of that pretty handle. is this celluloid? duh i am a bit slow at times.

The older b&m is celluloid but they also later made some from a different material, possibly Delrin, which doesn't have the translucence of the older cell.
 
Cal, nice collection! And great score on that hunter too, looks like it was hardly, if ever used. Those guys almost NEVER show up in that condition, you got a great deal.

Hey Glenn, glad to see something spark your interest. It looks like that Whittler has the same pattern handle as the SW in the middle of the first pic, along with Hal's 883. Looks like no shrinkage there, I wish I could say the same for all of my parts.

Oh, I'm around. I just don't usually have much of importance to post. That, and Schrades have got more expensive to collect on a regular basis anymore.

I wish my whittler was in a little better shape. It does make a good user though.
