Composite Leek Question

I use simichrome polish on all of my knives. It causes most blade finishes to wear off though, so I'm wondering if it would be okay to use on my composite blade Leek. (Yes, I realize it's not a coating, but it still concerns me).

I don't think I would either. I know It's not a coating, but the
color only extends into the steel so far. Just MHO.

I dont know what the finish is on the CB leek, but I do know from using the knife that the finish will rub/scratch off.
