I know, I know. I like the blade style. Tanto blades on a folder are the schizz.

The Strider AR/GB are monsters! If you're in the market for such a thing, I think they're a good choice. Strider's warranty is outstanding as well.

Im personally more attracted to the SNG/SMF design though, and an SMF will fill that bill perfectly. I have to send mine in now because of some minor issues. The blade is chipping, which is really weird.. Their heat treat is normally really really good.

Anyway, if you're into the Strider appeal, try one out! You can always flip it without losing much on the deal.

I'm liking this benchmade 760. But I got to carry a sebbie around a while. Figuring out some stuff,, don't get carried away.. Just plannin,, someone hold Lycosa down,,

I don't like protruding flippers. That's why I sold my Hinderer, but everyone likes different stuff, this lum just glides and Bangs out,,

I agree on the protruding flippers, but some makers do it very well imo. Matt Cucchiara is one example.

So does Rick Hinderer and Steve Ryan. But I just have no room for levers

One of the reasons I dont own a Hinderer is because of how his flipper tang is done. Of course it all comes down to personal preference, but I feel something like this would be ideal:

ANYWAY, flippers are mostly a gimmick!
