I know, Ive been talking to him a little bit... He gave me Bills number etc. This is a little insane... I mean, I was inpatient about J's backlog. With a backlog this long, I'm not even sure I still want one when he contacts me:eek:

I am about a year and a half through my 3 year wait for 2 of Shane Siberts folders!!!!!

The easy thing is for maker like Bill......if you don't want it.......someone else does:thumbup::thumbup:

Haha, yeah, that is true... I think I would feel ashamed if he called me and I said No thanks.. But there are PLENTY of other guys in line. Im waiting for a reply from JParanee for Bills e-mail addy. I still have to give it some thought, but I keep convincing myself to do it:eek:

Sounds like a great time J!

Time to hit the sack guys.. Its 1AM and I got work tomorrow:|

Take care, and dont die in Chi town!

All those names and I have no clue what you guys are taking about.

Please post some links - I'm thinking of getting my first folder and I want something special.

ETA Of course Horton folder would be ideal ;)

A little write up I found on him while browsing: http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulletin/defensive-knives-other-weapons/7274-story-bill-bagwell.html

Bill Bagwell was one of the founding members of the ABS, and was one of the very first American blacksmiths to create a damascus blade.

The maker Gravel was talking about is Shane Sibert. His folding knife, the "Pocket Rocket" is extremely popular, and I think that is the only knife he has a substantial backlog on. As Gravel said it's around 3 years! I dont think he takes more orders though.
