Now lemme ask,
how the hell can security just walk into your
hotel room? I thought when you "rent" a room,it is then
your residence,and security entering on those
grounds (credit card or whatever it was) would be breaking and entering.
And then security inviting the cops,they were trespassing.
Did you get an apology from the Sheraton Hotel?
I would at a minimum expect a few free months
of a complementary suite. I know a few lawyers,but they
are more in real estate. Lemme talk to them and see if they can
recommend someone. I definitely would pursue this.
Did they confiscate your chinese folder for impersonating a knife?

I totally agree as does my dad/attorney. I just need to find a good attorney in chitown.

Definitely B.S. The more I think about it, the entrance by hotel security and police was very inappropriate.

I would think the logical thing to due, on their part, would be turn off your key card until you came down to get new keys. They could see you were using the cards throughout the day and were scheduled to depart Saturday.

I'm an old Colonel, my boy. And getting older every day.;)

I thought I could put it down when I retired, but it seems that attitudes engrained through 30 years of Service don't go away that easily.:o
