hey guys,

i finally got some power in my shop and i'm ready to hook up my compressor with some quick connects and such.

but the hold coming out of the side of the compressor is threaded 1"NPT, i have some fittings to neck it down a ways but i don't want to work like 10 different fittings on the thing to get it where i need it.

should i just go with a reducing bushing from 1" to 1/4"?

then i can put on a ball valve with a quick connect socket?

damn there are too many choices, of fittings. anyone have any good pics of their set ups? thanks a lot in advance guys

I had to change the air line from the compressor to the bead blaster this week after discussing the situation with my glass bead supplier.

I was getting inconsistant bead blast finishes. He suggested that I get rid of the line with the quick disconnect fittings and plumb in a 3/8" line directly from the tank to the bead blaster, seems that the quick disconnects restrict air flow quite a bit.

After replacing the line with a 3/8" hose with no quick disconnects the bead blasting problem went away immediately.
