Heh... We were at Best Buy today (The wife needed a longer network cable) and they had a couple computers on closeout. I *almost* got one of them, as it seemed to match the list above. Only thing, it was a Gateway. I forgot to write down the processoer speed, but the rest of the specs were: 1024 DDR memory, 250 gig HD, double layer DVDRW, nVidia GeForce 6100 Video card and a 9-in1 reader. They only wanted $599 for it. My wife and I talked about it for a bit, and she talked me in to coming home and calling Dell, to see what they could do.
Anyone have good/bad experinces with Gateway? I'm going to ring Dell now (it's easier to call then to find stuff on their website) and see what they say.
