Ok, I can tear your car into hundreds of pieces and put it back together and make it run. I can strip it to bare metal and refinish it without a scratch. I'll sit with my optivisor on and sand a blade for hours to a mirror finish. But about six minutes on a computer that won't do what I want just pi$$es me off!!! :mad:

So, now that my blood pressure is spiked and my computer is in danger of severly shortened life expectancy, can anyone give me detailed directions on how to transfer pictures from Picassa to my profile page to set up an album?? :confused:

I'm going to go pound some W2. That'll make me feel better! ;) Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
 
Here, I stole them from someone elses page, I use photobucket, seems easier.



Embedding Picasa web album photos into forum posts

It's amazing that Google, which offers easy to use programs such as Picasa, can make imbedding an image from a web album into a forum post so difficult.
Many who participate in photography forums embed images from their online photo galleries into posts. Typically it's a relatively simple process: right-click an image, copy the url and pastes it into a thread. That's it!

Not so easy with photos displayed in Picasa web albums, at least not at the time of the writing (Sept 2007). So, if you use web albums, here's what to do:
  1. Click on a photo in your web album that you wish to display.
  2. Click on the hyperlink "Link to this Photo" which is on the right-hand side of the page.
  3. Select the image size from the pop-up menu: the options are thumbnail, small, medium and large.
  4. click on and copy the URL "HTML to embed in website."
  5. Paste the URL into a forum post.
  6. Remove all text, including quotes, before the second http and after jpg.

Note: In some forums you'll need to place IMG tags around the cleaned up url:
 
use photobucket, It will do all that stuff for you, you just right click on the pic and it is auto copied and then you just paste.
