I won't be surprised if Paracelsus moves this to the Custom Knife Forum, but what have you been doing, Comrade? Haven't seen any pic's or posts about your knives lately. BTW, my MicroChang Changmascus LCC (Lightchink Chang Combat, for those of you who don't know) still performs as good as the day I got it!!

Wazzup?

He has been posting Richard. I saw his new flag in the political forum just the other day

Why is that people seem to be testing me lately with questionable threads? I guess this one can stay for a while, but it really belongs in the community forum or better still, in private email. Simply search a forum for Chang, click on his profile to get his email addy, and ask HIM.

Sorry, Para, not trying to test you, I'm really wondering if he's been making any of his cool knives lately, and if anyone has any pictures to post. They always seem to generate some interest here.

Inasmuch as corrugated paper pulp is a folder making material, I think this thread possesses the requisite amount of knife content to allow its continuance.

Ah! Thanks very much for your concern. Recently, I've been working on Changmascus handles and stuff. I was considering making G-10 blades and mounting them on the wood scales, but that wouldn't really quite be a Chang knife. A Chang knife requires the blade to be made of cardboard. I might continue the G-10 project if I can find a source that supplies them in slabs longer than 5", which is all I could find...

I still enjoy making knives, I've worked out some other stuff recently. Like the acid trip Changmascus pattern handled fixed SOCOM for the winner of the MN Knife Knuts drawing. He has received it already and likes it a lot. I sent a royal purple Changmascus handled fixed LCC (the second fixed LCC ever made) to Max Burnett to thank him for a Gerber multi tool he sent me free of charge for school carry now that my school has explored its fascist roots in banning all "pocket knives".

Here is the second MicroChang LCC with royal purple Changmascus grip.

And my acid trip pattern (made from my imagination, not from actual acid use... hugs not drugs. I'm 100% drug free as part of my conservative morals) Changmascus SOCOM.

I recently sent a wood Chang Steel G.W. Bush-man to Elvislives. Hopefully it arrived there safely... Elvis, if you didn't receive it, I'll carve you another one...

Richard:
BTW, I'm making the MicroChang UDT (Urine Disposal Team) out of the Padauk handles you mailed me long ago. I'm going to use the cardboard blade, but with multiple layers of cardboard for reinforced feel. Your carving knife combined with my SOCOM and CRKT KISS is working wonders on cardboard boxes. Going to make the MicroChang Vector with the cocobolo scales and some old USPS Priority Mail boxes. These are going to be sold to make some cash for my Ruger 10/22 rifle that I'm saving up to get (first gun!). Illinois State Police gave me the Firearm Owner's ID and now it is legal for me to own a gun and some ammunition for it despite being 16 years old. I joined the NRA a little while ago and started attending a local rifle association's (Champaign County Rifle Association) meetings.

Potential Customers:
E-mail me if you are interested in purchasing a Cocobolo handled MicroChang Vector and/or a Padauk (a nice looking African wood) handled MC UDT (Urine Disposal Team). They will be autographed on the blade and will be labelled appropriately as CUSTOM or #1/1 Prototype instead of as a production model.

A big thank you to Mr. Rosvall for his time and materials that he has contributed to Changmade Knife Co. and it's subdivisions. Without him, this special edition set would be impossible.

Hey Robert, I haven't had the chance to go out and hammer the crap out of some foil yet (Mom declared that my Calculus grade was falling and I had better work on Calculus and stop spending so much time on cardboard and Changmascus!). This weekend, I'm gonna go and seriously mash some foil into a knife blade. Then we can trade sharp jewelry for a foil sliver!

Thanks for the update, Comrade. Hopefully, I'll see George from Straight River Knives and be able to check out that "acid trip" Changmascus in person. Keep us posted on the projects that are in the works!

My newest creation, a random pattern Changmascus handle. MicroChang Urine Disposal Team (UDT). Meant for display only, this batch of Changmascus is a little weak and seems to crack when banged up. This is the #2/2 prototype for the Urine Disposal Team model. #1/2 is awaiting assembly though the parts are done.

CC, when will you come out with an AFCK, Alternative Folding Cardboard Knife?

Para, sorry I didn't search first, but if all we did was search we would not intereact so much and we wouldn't know if you were watching. Justing testing (err) I mean checking.

Comrade- we might have to make a deal for a Changmascus UrineDisposalTeam when you get the time. That name cracks me up every time I see it. I'll be in touch.

Richard, the UDT had a little mess up that will require some fixing. The handle is 4 colors actually, and for some reason, the more colors there are, the more problems there are (the butt of the knife had one of the scales snap at about a centimeter). I'm in the process of molding over a piece to cover the crack, but it seems that 4+ color Changmascus is not durable enough for actual use (looks nice though). In the future, I'm making celluloid handles, but I heard those are highly flammable (then again, so is my Changmascus... I was heat treating it with a Bic lighter and it caught on fire.)

Dexter, the Japogee is a good idea, but it might offend some people, since I don't have that much Japanese heritage (only 12.5% of me is Japanese, the rest is Taiwanese, with a little bit of Dutch).
