Concealable sheath for BM or Mr MoFo?

Has anyone seen a concealable sheath for a BM or a Mr MoFo? It would be fun to carry one of these knives for a backup if the Wilson CQB fails. I'm thinking you would need a behind the back sheath and a coat to conceal it properly. Am I on to something or did I drink too much during the superbowl?

Bravado,
How well does that big recurve blade on the Mojo draw from that kydex sheath?? Does the recurve belly hinder the draw at all?

I've been wondering about this point for when the MOFO arrives.

No problem drawing it, it works real well and Mr. Brown
made it an adjustable cantilever.

adjustable cantilever

Bravado, can you explain this? or do you have a pic of what you mean?
I'm glad that it draws smoothly. I hope I'm not jumping the gun here but I'm hoping the MOFOs will be shipping soon and I'm thinking about sheathing options. Thanks for the input Bravado.

I'm curious as to where you could conceal a big ole fixed blade like that. Where ya gonna put it, down your buttcrack?

jim c,
I have heard others refer to what you want as a croc dundee rig, a reference to the movie I suppose. I also am interested in one of these for my incoming MoFo and my Camp Tramp. I have searched the forums before, but can never find any pics. I am also thinking about some kind of leather for my MOFO. Anybody got any suggestions?

Sorry no camera all my money goes towards Infi! The sheath is
angle (Cantilever) adjustable and I belive he set it up for OWB carry
via Tek-lok as well. I've never seen another IWB with angle
adjustment but I'm sure he'd make as many as you wanted.

thanks Bravado! But in the future when you reply to one of my posts would you mind keeping your vocabulary MONOSYLLABIC :D If you'd just kept it at "cant" my brain wouldn't have blue screened ;) :p ;)

I know there was one individual who was able to secrete a BM inverted under his shirt, completely unnoticable. And he is not a large person. I about croaked when he said his EDC (at that time) was a BM. I asked how the heck he carried something like that. He hiked up the edge of his sweatshirt and sure enough, there is was.

Spent the rest of the day at Knob Creek in disbelief.

Might also want to see if there are any Blade-o-leers for the BM floatins around. THis was a set-up that allowed for a multi-positional carry up, down, or across the back or front. They were out a couple years ago. Haven't seen or heard much lately. I have one for a MS. Nice rig.

Didn't Greg make those?? Can't recall.

Hi Everybody.....

Yes it can be done I have done some IWB rigs for all kind of weird things in fact I am working on some tuckable rigs for Hunters SJ, BA3, & SHBA. A tuckable is where your knife or gun rides IWB & it has a slot for you to tuck your shirt tail in between the sheath & the outside of your pants......or skirt:p I am also working on making the cant adjustable on these. Whith the way I set the attachment holes you can use my IWB attachment or a Blade-tec Tec-loc & give yourself more carry options. As far as the Dundee rigs I do not do those sorry:( Hope this helps & if you have any questions feel free to e-mail me.

I here ya Danbo, I've heard people on the forums say they can carry concealed (IWB I think) an Ontario Bagwell Bowie in a River City Sheaths "southern comfort" sheath. I would like to see how that is done.

I will say , however, that this winter I've found that by moving the Tek-Lok attachment down on the factory kydex sheath on my ZT SH I can clip that on my belt behind my right hip and tuck the bottom of the sheath into my back right pocket on my dockers. I can then sit comfortably in my truck or at my desk. It doesn't get caught up at all getting in and out of the truck and with a jacket or a vest the ZT SH is perfectly concealed AND perfectly comfortable. The one issue is when carried like this that 7.5" blade has a long way to travel UP to draw out of the sheath, so I have to bend forward at the waist just a bit to get that sucker up and out of there quick. I'm hoping that with a better sheath that isn't as bulky as those ZT kydex sheaths, I will be able to carry the MOFO like this. What do you think David? However, I have tried the same thing with the ZT BM and the draw is just TOO long for me.

With the long blades I think a IWB cross draw would work best it would fit where your torso & leg meet & ride there while sitting & with the cross draw set up it gives you more room to draw the knife. I will have to try this with a BM. I thought that since most swordsmen carry cross draw & the BM is the closest most of us will come to a INFI sword (except for the oinkers :barf: )I thought that would work best it does for Outside carry any way? Lets get some more input freom you guys & we can make something or come on over to the shop & we can talk knives & work on sheaths the door is allways open in Buy Brown-ville :D
