Concealed carry clips

...never saw the need for deep-carry clips on my folders...just makes 'em harder to get a hold of.

This may be the case for your city/locality, but statewide, there is no such requirement to conceal a folding knife. Statewide, there are relatively few restrictions on folding knives, no length limits, double edged OK, locking/non-locking OK. Autos are the only real restriction on folders statewide.

Big cities like Los Angeles/SF may have the backwards laws requiring concealment, but thankfully those are not statewide. Always check your local restrictions.
When was the last time you read up on California knife law ?
BTW I live in a rural county in a small town surrounded by orchards and crops as far as the eye can see, so nobody cares what kind of knives are being carried and there are no laws that aren't statewide.

Right before making my post, I double checked. But again I am correct. I too also live in a rural county surrounded by crops - so I hate to see people spout off LA/SF knife laws as if they apply to the entire state.

Well I hadn't read them this year, so I guess they removed that styled part.
I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for having to much of a folders handle exposed anyways so it's good that they didn't waste their time putting that part in there.

The only real issue i've had with BM and Spyderco deep carry clips is the screw heads tear up some of my pants
