Hi Guys-
I've got two knives available. These are hard use versions of my Gent's Back-up Bowie.
5160 blades heat treated to 58/59 Rockwell, with machine finish bevels, hand-sanded flats/spines.
Top knife has Black canvas Micarta, bottom knife has OD Green canvas Micarta. Both handles were hand sanded to 500X to leave a "nice, but not too nice", grippy finish), both with ss Corby bolts, and both have a concealed lanyard mount. (please note, the green handled knife's lanyard access point is cut in the micarta scales only, and the black handled knife's lanyard access is cut into the tang and the scales... one isn't better than the other, just slightly different).
Sheaths are behind the back, right hand carry--- hand saddle stitched, veg tanned leather. They were treated with Neatsfoot Oil and allowed to level for 24 hours, then treated with Fiebing's Top Kote, followed by WyoSheen.
I want to point out that these are a behind the back, emergency (**** hits the fan) type carry.
SOLD
$450 shipped in the states, (price per knife) and will gladly discuss int'l shipping options with our friends around the globe.
Thanks for look'n guys!!!
If interested, please post here and contact me via NickWheelerJs at hotmail dot com as well.
