My god... The pants and belt combination with the gun vest.

Definitely reinforces the stereotype I mentioned.

Everything about this "shoot me first" uniform is perfect, except for the hat. It actually looks normal, instead of bedazzled with velcro and/or tactical reference.

Looks normal to me? I don't see anything wrong with the pants and belt, and that vest wouldn't really look out of place anywhere in my opinion.

Lot of guys wear vests around here, mostly canvas 4 pocket ones. Sometimes Carhart, or a western styled one, sometimes a filson. Doesn't scream gun or nut, just a regular cowboy or western type thing.

Nice thing about up here, we just OPEN carry:thumbup:. I don't need no stinking vest. Just kidding as I wear what ever makes me comfortable and is applicable to the weather dictates. Wear mostly Carhartt gear and I have belt holsters and yes Spec-Ops drop leg/thigh holsters which work outstanding on 4-wheelers.

An IDPA match is the only place to wear said vest.

Vests are super loud even a Carhart...If you need a vest why not just use a jacket if you're cold BING red light turns on or puts a target on you.

Just a shirt that hangs a bit low is all I ever use around here. To hot most of the year for anything more than that.
