Hi Guys....
Just thought I'd give you an update on some Concealex Cold weather tests.
I left one of my sheaths outside for a couple of nights. It's been well below freezing here for the last couple of days, so I thought this would be a good time to try this.
After repeated heavy hits with a ball pean hammer, the sheath has only suffered minor abrasion. There were no cracks or structural fatigue of any sort....
Waiting for some seriously low temp and I will repeat these tests, with a heavier hammer, and I will also drive over it with the truck to see if I can inflict some sort of damage to it.
Since I'm fairly certain that Concealex is effected more by sharp impacts I will think of some ways to test this as well...
Stay tuned...
ttyle Eric...
