I wasn't going to say anything considering the shape that so many of our beloved fellows are in but I can't hold it in any longer.:grumpy:
Sorry for the length it's probably gonna be.
I got a call from my daughter in Florida on Saturday the 4th late morning and then again late evening and then again last evening, Sunday the 5th.
Friday night they went and visited some friends and my middle grandson Justin wanted to stay home and do his homework, he's been stressing about school and his grades she said, so he was allowed.
Justin called them about 8:00 p.m. and asked if he could have some cheesecake that was left and he was given permission. They got home late Friday night, around midnight and Justin was still up.
Stella said that he was stumbling around but it wasn't unusual as Justin always does that when he's tired.
Justin is 14-1/2 years old/young and is a good kid as they all are and all are reasonably innocent for this day and age which I am proud to say!
Anyway when they got up Saturday morning Justin didn't come out of his room at his usual time so they went to investigate and found Justin on the floor still dressed. He had wet himself, was ice cold and unresponsive. They called 911 and got an ambulance out.
Upon admission too the hospital of course drugs were suspected and tests were run. The hospital staff said they see a lot of kids in this same predicament and were certain that drugs were involved.
No drugs showed up in his system and Justin is a very anti-drug kid. There was no change Saturday night nor any change when Stella called me last night.
They are keeping his temp up, but it is acting strange as well.
When it is taken rectally it is where it should be but when taken orally it is higher than it should be.
The doctors are all scratching their heads and don't have a Condamned Clue as to what is going on!
More tests for drugs were run and they all came back negative as well.
I don't know what it is with my daughter and her family but they have suffered more damned sickness and hardship than any ten families ought to have to suffer with my daughter's cancer and my granddaughter's Crohns and now this!!!!:grumpy:
I have yet to hear from Stella today. I pray she has some good news when I do!
So if you can/will please add my grandson Justin to your Smoke/Prayer list.
Smoke is going up pretty much all the time here for all concerned!
