Condor Bushcraft Knife Status?

I would like to know, too. I'm kinda thinking of one of their new machetes, actually.

Hopefully Joezilla will stick his head in here. If anyone on this forum knows, it's him. I'm looking forward to the RODAN model he designed actually.

The samples are being made as we speak, they are a little behind. I'll see if I can get a picture of Rodan very soon. thanks for the question though, I know how hard it is waiting.

Thanks Joezilla. You better tell them to make a huge initial run of all models, as they're gonna sell :)

I guess I can understand this. Perhaps instead of putting WSS or BF on the knives anywhere we could all just get on a list to get some of the first knives.
Or perhaps one of the dealers here on BF could somehow arrange for a "special" run of one of the knives, perhaps with a different handle material or something. We would all be able to get one and support one of our own dealers at the same time, while still having a special knife that we all would know would be a WSS knife, without it having WSS or BF on the knife anywhere.

yuck. that sounds complicated.
I know they are taking forever. They still haven't got the new samples to me and they really need to get going. I'll see what is going on tommorrow.

Oh and there will be a kukri machete too.

Joe, make sure to tell them that their first batch is free to BF members since we've been so patient :)

Hey I can dream, can't I ?:jerkit::D

Holy crap! I always told myself the only way I'd buy a Kukri (other than my Assam Rifles regimental one) was if Condor had a whack at it! Wood or plastic handles? I'm actually hoping plastic, but I'll take either.

The wilderness tool is a nifty little bugger, but I prefer this one for overall utility. Works great as a draw/push knife, too. I've been using it to shape some boards that I split from a blow-down over the winter.
