I just picked up a Condor Bushlore this past weekend while in Frederick, Md. I had been looking for a bushcraft knife for some time. It was priced right for jumping into my first bushcraft knife and I like it. This is going to be an expensive road.
You'll want some kind of heavy chopper to pair with it... in order to keep the look the same, and maintain the correct " FEEL " for a bushcraft blade, I'd suggest pairing it with the Condor Moonshiner....It's a beast of a blade, looks GREAT with some patina on it, easily the equal of every other big chopper style knife that I own specifically for the task ( BK9, Junglas, etc... )
It's a VERY overlooked knife IMHO in the large chopper category and priced right for the budget minded Bushcrafter.....I frikkin LOVE mine and I own dedicated choppers in the 300 to 500 range....none of em any better than the Moonshiner
The Bushlore is my favorite bushcraft knife so far. And the moonshiner? AWESOME BLADE. If you're interested, here's my review of it: https://youtu.be/KGG9pIvasBA
