condor golok or parang???

I haven't handled either, but for those who have, which is the best when it comes to chopping power and packability?
 
I don't have either but I just got my first Condor product, I don't think you'll be disappointed with either product.
 
I've been very impressed with Condor's line! I recently picked up their Golok, Swampmaster and Aztec Cleaver. If the parang is actually 1/4 thick, that will be a heavy duty chopper!

i recently got a Condor Golok (thanks again Jake).. i love it... it is an awesome tool.. especially for the price.. mine came with a nice sharp edge too...

In terms of packability I'd go with the golok (which is a nice and hefty chopper for its diminutive size) but the parang is probably going to pack a little extra punch while still being quite packable. :)

It's up on Machete Specialist as of a couple of days ago. When I checked the sheath wasn't in stock but the parang itself looked to be.:thumbup:
 
I have the Golok, and it is a fantastic tool. My favorite chopper in the style!
 
Machete specialist has BOTH IN STOCK!!!! as for knives you can send me a PM.

Fortytwo, do you have a Golok yet?
 
Not yet! :( I'll be getting one through work this summer to save myself valuable money (gotta' buy diapers somehow!) so it'll still be a bit. Gonna' be getting a whole bunch of the new ones though!
