Yes, mine was as well. I like to cut small sticks close to the handle, so I reprofiled mine in that area to make it symmetrical and sharp. It took a couple of hours by hand, as I didn't feel like setting up my belt sander.

That you can fix. Un-even grinds are not uncommon with Condor blades. You already fixed it.
