Does the sheath on your Crotalus have divots in the mouth of it? If it just looks rectangular (which I'm guessing it does) then it was one of the first run, which had some sheath fit/retention issues. If that's the case Condor would hook you up with one of the revamped sheaths, I'm sure.

I checked my pictures against what Condor has on their website and I see a slight difference in the sheaths. I'll reach out to them and see what they have to say.

Does anyone know what specific hardwood they use in the handles? They don't seem to want to name the wood, for some reason.

It's walnut from both American and Guatemalan sources. The American stuff is the more dull cocoa brown while Guatemalan is more rosewood-looking.
