Conductor knife question

Bill copied the "swell center Balloon whittler pattern"; notice the longer bolsters!!
These bolsters added the term "Balloon" to the name, because they are shaped like hot-air Balloons!! (Kinda silly, but true!!).
The pics below are all three-blade Whittlers:

A little tidbit from when I was collecting those Case knives, Jim. The person I learned it from (I can't remember who!) has probably passed on!!
Case made a two blade also!

PS : I've notice that the main blade of the whittlers as a smoother snap than, for example, the stockman's one. Is it true for all the whittlers, due to the doubble spring, or only mine ?
