I remember stumbling on the same website not too long ago and reading about some pretty brutal cases. Reminds me why I need to quit slacking and get my pistol permit. Not like you'd have a good chance at a shot if you're ambushed but at least it increases your odds and gives a little peace of mind.

I've never encountered one but my dad has. Once at night in Northern PA while hunting and another time alongside a busy road in central Massachusetts (with two cubs). Both places are said to "have NO mountain lions" of course... I'm sure they were just house cats right? :jerkit:
