Confused about this motor

So I'm trying to decide on a motor to get for a 2x72 I'm wanting to build. I'm looking at this one :

http://www.grizzly.com/products/Motor-2-HP-Single-Phase-3450-RPM-110V-220V/H5386

The plan is to fit a pulley on this one (tied to another pulley, pillow bearings, etc.) . My question is - how do I know what specific pulley can fit on this? Maybe I'm not understanding how pulleys are attached to motors.

with only a single picture of this pulley:

I can't tell if I need a longer motor shaft or?

You should be able to figure out shaft length and diameter based on the frame - try googling NEMA frame sizes if the frame is available in the listing?

in the specs page for the motor the shaft diameter is listed as 5/8''. Pulley diameter is 5/8'' as well. Shaft length of the motor is listed as 1.94''

**edit** quick question : do you put a single step pulley on the motor and a multi step pulley on the drive shaft?

The best setup is a three step on each motor. Using a 2"/3"/4" pulley for example, this allows for 1:2/1:1/2:1 speed ratio adjustments with the belt always aligned straight.
