(Yes, I know it's c-o-n-g-r-a-"t"-ulations. Got your attention though
).
Man, talk about being busy and things change. For those of you who've never heard of me, I have been here since this forum's inception and would like to say "hi".
Dexter Ewing, (hi Dex), and myself are the original "Military Men". Dex would probably argue that he came up with that phrase but I swear, I did. Dexter though DID talk me into purchasing my original Military and together we persuaded a whole tassle of forumites into becoming "Military Men, (and women)". In fact the Spyderco Forum now proudly pictures a Military as it's logo. The two of us put the Military on the map, (in these forums), and proudly it is now one of Spyderco's best selling knives and deservedly so. Sal's wonderful company and quality conscienceness has made Spyderco THE top company in quality and value today.
Sorry for straying off track. This post is to congratulate my old friend, "The Baldest One", in his new capacity as this forum's co-moderator. Bob is one of the most insightful and knowledgeable knife people you could ever hope for. He knows of what he speaks and you really couldn't ask for a better person to "co-handle" this job. Good choice Mike T. and congrats again Bob.
