I saw the article last night at the grocery store, congrats Dan! It's a cool article, with good pictures. I'm glad I got my bushcraft while the getting was good! But now I want a monster nessie- I had no idea they were that big. Drooool.

That monster nessie spread is pretty sweet indeed!

I couldn't have been happier with the write-up too. Tim's a great guy. You're always nervous when guys approach you about testing one of your knives at a survival camp...will it perform as expected? will the author like it? will it get a good, honest review? Not that I worry about my work...I've tested everything already and know the strengths.......but sometimes authors miss the intended purpose...or, conversely, over-glamorize specific features, etc. Not the case with Tim. Like I said, I was very pleased with it.

Hey Dan, just started checking in around BF a bit more recently and ran across this. She was a fun one to test! Splitting logs was quite amusing. Here's a funny one that didn't get used in the article.

I'd have liked to have had at least one pic of the Bushmaster in there as well since we talked about it but it wans't to be.
